Things that inspire me right now
I’m often asked about what keeps me inspired and the answer is always - nature. Here’s a little fall collage with images from Pinterest. Now see if you can resist pulling those brushes out!
In eight months we’re moving to a small town called Varberg, located on the west coast of Sweden. Me and my husband have been pondering leaving Stockholm since the day we met and we’re now in the middle of the building process of our new house. I’m quite frightened to be honest, leaving everything we know for something unknown but we long for a simpler life, nature around the corner and less choices. I want to ride my bike more, spend less time in traffic and be closer to the ocean.
As you may imagine - I’m less preoccupied with the plumbing details than with the studio space we’re making. We initially had our minds set on a separate house for the studio but as it turned out really expensive we’re settling on a roomy space in the attic instead. There’ll be loads of skylight, walls to work on and a large storage room - in other words - everything I struggle with in my basement studio at the moment.
I’m dying to make this make own personal Shangri-La obviously, and my desktop is now quite a messy mood-board of things on my wish-list for this place. Here’s a little snippet.
