The rest is something you learn by doing: how far you can push a pigment, when to leave a bloom alone and when to lift it, how to adapt mid-painting instead of starting over. That part comes with practice, and I'll show you exactly how.

What you’ll learn
Beyond the essentials of acrylic painting, I’ll be guiding you through my personal, intuitive approach to creating art—not by giving you a step-by-step map (because there isn’t one), but by sharing the techniques, structure, and curious mindset that bring a painting to life.
We’ll dive into familiar watercolor techniques—wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, and dry-on-dry—but this time using acrylics on paper. This will give you a strong foundation for working with acrylics in an intuitive, experimental way.
I’ll also show you how these techniques translate to working on canvas, as well as the process for painting from a reference photo.

Absolutely! This course is for anyone who wants to learning acrylic painting, we start from the basics and move on from there.

Of course! There will be references to watercolor painting throughout the course but each technique will be explained thoroughly.

You can dive into acrylics on a budget, adding more as you go. A few tubes of paint, 2-3 brushes (inexpensive ones from the hardware store are perfect to begin with), and a surface to paint on is all you need to start.

If you're looking for a step-by-step to copy my work, this isn’t the course for you. Instead, I’ll be sharing the techniques and structure of my intuitive process to help you tap into your own creativity, guiding you to make art that truly comes from you.

Working on paper is a great way to begin your acrylic journey—it allows for quick experimentation without the pressure of working on a more expensive surface like canvas.
However, everything we learn as we practice on paper can be done on canvas, which I’ll demonstrate in the course.
